On January 27th, 2014 at approximately 12:30 am, State Police at Liberty were contacted by a resident of Pond Eddy reporting that his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck had just been stolen from his driveway on Church Road. Responding Troopers located the vehicle a short time later being operated on Shortell Road in the Town of Lumberland. The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody.
State Police have charged Alicia Grech, 21, of Pond Eddy with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a felony. She was arraigned in the Town of Lumberland Justice Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $12,000 cash bail.
