Traffic stop on St Rt 17 yields cocaine and "molly."

The New York State Police in Monroe arrested a man and woman from the Town of Minisink Tuesday evening, after finding them in possession of cocaine and “Molly,” a crystallized form of the drug ecstasy.

Troopers on patrol on St Rt 17 stopped a vehicle in the Town of Blooming Grove for violations of the vehicle and traffic law. A State Police narcotics detecting K9 located 15 ounces of cocaine and 4 ounces of Molly hidden within the vehicle.

Jade C. Bell and Sorangel Rosa, both 30 years old from Westtown, NY, were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st (a class A1 felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (a class A2 felony).

Bell and Rosa were arraigned in the Town of Blooming Grove court and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
