Monticello police arrested Jennifer Irelan (35) of Monticello of Wednesday 8/23/13. Irelan was charged with felony burglary in the 3rd degree and misdemeanor petit larceny.
Irelan was arrested at 1 PM Wednesday for shoplifting items valued at $18.58 from the Rite Aide pharmacy on Broadway in the village of Monticello. Irelan had been previously charged with petit larceny on 6/19/12 at the same pharmacy and had been issued a trespass affidavit at that time banning her from the store thereby resulting in her being additionally charged with felony burglary for the incident on Wednesday.
Irelan was arraigned before acting village of Monticello justice Martin Miller and remanded to the Sullivan county jail on $3500.00 bail pending further court action.
