Bloomingburg woman arrested for burglary

On June 16, the New York State Police at Ellenville announced the arrest of Rachel M. Amore, age 25, of Bloomingburg, NY, for the charges of burglary in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Troopers responded to a burglary of a mobile home located on Port Ben Road in the Town of Wawarsing. Rachel Amore was identified as the person who entered the residence and stole an X-Box game system.

She was located a short time after the incident and was arrested. Amore was also found in possession of a hypodermic needle and a heroin glassine packet. A criminal history check of Amore revealed she was currently wanted by New York State Parole and SP Wurtsboro for criminal mischief.

Amore was arraigned before Town of Marbletown, justice Mark H. Glick, and was remanded to the Ulster County Jail with no bail. She is to reappear in the Town of Wawarsing on 06/21/13 at 8:30 a.m.
