On June 12, 2013 the New York State Police at Liberty arrested Vladimir Ignatenkov, age 38, of Narrowsburg, NY for the charge of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the first degree and Unlawfully Growing Cannabis.
State Police searched a residence on Ryder Road in Narrowsburg, which led to the discovery of a large-scale marijuana growing operation. More than 100 marijuana plants were recovered along with more than ten pounds of processed marijuana.
Ignatenkov was arraigned in the Town of Tusten Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with bail set at $15,000 cash. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated. State Police were assisted in the investigation by the Westchester County Drug Task Force and the Town of Greenburgh Police Dept.
