On 05/28/2013 at approx., 7:45 p.m., while investigating an incident at St. John’s Cemetery, Honesdale Borough Police noticed the strong odor of marijuana emanating from a vehicle involved in the incident. The driver identified as Christina Benedict, age 19 of Honesdale was found to be in possession of the items that was located in the vehicle.

Charges have been filed at the Office of MDJ Edwards on Benedict for possession of drug paraphernalia. A Central Court appearance is forthcoming.
