Honesdale Borough Police report the arrest of 50 year old Steve Kousis from New Jersey for violating a protection from abuse order (PFA).

The victim reported the violations on May 8, 2013 to Borough Police. A warrant for Kousis’ arrest was issued by District Judge Bonnie Carney. Numerous attempts were made to apprehend Kousis but information revealed he was in the New Jersey area.

Kousis returned to PA on May 18th and was taken into custody at a residence on the Milanville Road by Borough and State Police.

A hearing was held on 05/23/13 in the court of common pleas.. Kousis was found guilty of violating the PFA and sentenced to 60 days in the Wayne County Prison.
