The New York State Police, Troop F, SP Middletown announce the arrest of David A. Brown II, age 25, of 20 Rancho Drive, Cortlandt Manor, NY for Criminal Mischief in the second degree, Reckless Endangerment in the second degree, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in the third degree and numerous vehicle and traffic violations.

On Sunday April 28, 2013 at approximately 10:40 a.m, a state trooper attempted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle for its involvement in a road rage incident on State Route 17 in the Town of Chester. The operator of the motorcycle, David Brown, failed to comply and led police on a pursuit into the Town of Wallkill.

Troopers received a tip from a motorist that Brown had exited State Route 17 at exit 119 and went down a cul-de-sac. Troopers blocked off the street but Brown attempted to weave his way between the police cars, subsequently hitting two of the parked police cars. Brown was then taken into custody without incident.

Brown was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill before Town Justice Patrick Owen and was sent to Orange County Jail on $6,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
