Two Middletown men arrested for burglary

The New York State Police reports the arrest of two Middletown, NY men for burglary. On April 4, 2013, at approximately 4:00 PM, troopers from the Middletown barracks were patrolling East Main Street in the Mechanicstown section of the Town of Wallkill when they observed two males exiting a vacant residence. Both men were carrying large duffle bags.

Further investigation by the troopers revealed that the men did not have permission to be in the residence, and had removed a large quantity of copper wiring from within. Troopers arrested ARNULFO FLORES, age 25, and RICHARD P. SOHL, age 24, both of Middletown. Both subjects were charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony, and possession of burglar’s tools, a misdemeanor. Both men were arraigned in Town of Wallkill Court, and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $4,000.00 bail/$16,000.00 bond.
