Honesdale man arrested after failing to appear on assault charges

On the 27th day of November the Honesdale Borough Police conducted a traffic stop on Church Street, resulting in the arrest of Alton Cable III, age 42 from the Honesdale area.

Cable was wanted on a bench warrant from Pike County for failure to appear for aggravated assault charges. Cable was taken to the Wayne County Correctional facility awaiting transport back to Pike County.
