Liberty man arrested for drugs

On Thursday September 13th the Village of Liberty Police Department executed a search warrant on 21 Lincoln place apartment 2 in the Village of Liberty. As a result Juan Montero,34 , of Liberty was arrested on several felony drug charges.
Officers conducted the raid at around eight pm on Thursday night and seized cocaine, hydrocodone pills, marihuana, scales, packaging materials and money.
Montero was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the fifth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, felonies criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, misdemeanors and unlawful possession of marihuana a violation.
Montero was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail without bail with a return date of 09/18/12 at 10:00 AM.
