State Police at Ellenville arrest local man for Possession of a Forged Instrument

On July 27, 2012, the members of the New York State Police, Troop F, at SP Ellenville, announce the arrest of a subject for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument occurring at the Ulster Correctional Facility in the town of Wawarsing N.Y.

Arrested was KEITH V. MANZI , 45, of South Richmond Hill, New York. MANZI was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd, a Felony, and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd, a Misdemeanor.

The investigation indicated that MANZI, an inmate at the Ulster Correctional Facility, had used a template of a Supreme Court of the State of New York court order and filled out same to show that he was exempt from hair cuts at the correctional facility. MANZI further forged the signature of a Supreme Court Justice from New York City.

MANZI was arrested and processed at the Ulster Correctional Facility and will be made to appear in the town of Wawarsing Court at a later date.
