Brooklyn Man Sentenced to 6 ½ years in Pub Bar Gang Assault
Jackson was also sentenced to 2 years in state prison and 3 years of post release supervision, that sentence to run concurrently with the gang assault term, for the possession of 54 packets of heroin in the Town of Fallsburg that occurred in April of 2011. Jackson was with Junior and a third man, Ahkiem Brown, in a motor vehicle when stopped by the Fallsburg Police and the heroin was discovered. Brown has also entered a guilty plea to the heroin possession and is pending sentencing in County Court.
Regarding the gang assault Farrell said “this was an unprovoked attack on one man by three others and the victim was slashed in the face and seriously injured. This type of violent behavior cannot be tolerated and my office and the police will seek to make sure that people who engage in this type of behavior are held accountable and we will continue the investigation into the third perpetrator.”
