On 14 May 2012, Village of Liberty Police Officers arrested Rosemary Correa 23 of Loch Sheldrake after an investigation, at the Liberty Police Department in the Village of Liberty, County of Sullivan, New York for: Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, which occurred between 10 April and 20 April 2012.

The defendant allegedly while caring for the ill victim, did use the victims debit card to withdraw over one thousand dollars for her own personal gain.

Correa was released on an appearance ticket to appear before Honorable Bauman in the Town of Liberty Justice Court on 22 May 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
