Monday, April 23, 2012 - An alert passerby called 911 to report a vehicle being operated in a hazardous manner. A Trooper from SP Wurtsboro located the vehicle and observed that it was driving in the wrong lane on Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro. The operator, Gina Roberts, age 43 of Wurtsboro, NY was found to be intoxicated.

A 6 year old child was in the front passenger seat not wearing a seat belt. Ms. Roberts was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired - Drugs, Aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law violation - a Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was arraigned before town of Mamakating Justice Matthews and committed to the Sullivan Co Jail - No Bail.
