The Honesdale Borough Police report the arrest of 62 year old Alexander Karachun of Honesdale for DUI. On 3/15/12 at approximately 3:45 pm, Karachun was observed in an intoxicated state at the Wayne County Courthouse. Karachun was observed getting into the drivers side of a white pickup truck at Central Park by a Sheriff’s Deputy. Honesdale Borough Police were notified and Karachun was stopped on Grandview Ave.

Karachun was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Charges for DUI were filed at the Wayne County Courthouse. Ptlm Thacher is the arresting officer.
