On 02-01-2012 at 1:05 a.m., the Honesdale Borough Police received a complaint from a 24 year old female victim. In her complaint the victim alleges that an altercation took place earlier in the evening with 21 year old Stephen Hook. It is alleged that Hook had gotten into an argument with the victim and Hook allegedly grabbed the victim by her head and began screaming in her face.
As a result of this physical altercation taking place a citation for Harassment, a summary offense, has been filed through Magisterial District Judge Mikulak’s office on Stephen Hook.

On 02/07/12, the Honesdale Borough Police arrested David Martin, 40 from Honesdale, after he allegedly struck a female victim from Honesdale in the face with a closed fist during a disturbance on Ash Street. Martin was arrested on charges of Simple Assault and Harassment. He was arraigned by MDJ Mikulak and released on $5000 unsecured bail. A Central Court appearance is set for 02/15/12.

The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred on February 2nd sometime between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on 7th Street. According to police a vehicle parked on 7th Street was struck on the driver-side door, causing the window to break. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Honesdale Borough Police at (570) 253-1900.
