On December 6th, 2011, the members of the New York State Police, Troop F, at SP Ellenville, arrested a subject following an incident which occurred within a motel room of the Colonial Motel located in the Town of Wawarsing N.Y.

Arrested was JAMAL BURGOS, age 34, of the Colonial Motel, 6812 State Route 209 room 60, Kerhonkson, New York. BURGOS was charged with Grand Larceny 4th, a felony, and Violation of Parole.

The investigation indicated that BURGOS stole $1,400.00 cash from the purse of a female who was visiting him at the hotel.

JAMAL BURGOS was arrested, processed and then issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Wawarsing Court on December 9th at 8:30 a.m. BURGOS was remanded to Ulster County Jail with no bail on a warrant issued by the New York State Division of Parole.
