The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating a hit and run which occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m., on 12/08/11 at the intersection of North Main St. and West Park St. A black Saab driven by Mark Gola of Honesdale was stopped at the red light on North Main St., when he was rear ended by a maroon colored Chevrolet sedan, possibly a Corsica. The Chevy then fled the scene heading southbound on Main St. The Chevy should have front end damage including a broken head- light lens.
