A man who lives in the Nevel Trailer Park is Salem Township was arrested on Noevembr 22, after allegedly threatening a cable television technician, named Millier, with a gun, and after something struck Miller's van.

According to a release from the Pennsylvania State Police at Honesdale, Miller went to the home of Brad Swingle to disconnect the cable service. When Miller was fuinished, Swingle pointed a handgun at him. Miller apologized for turning of the service, then began to walk away when he heard something strike the van. He left the area and called police.

Troopers discovered a video camera mounted on the front porch of the trailer, and a small device mounted near the entrance to the home. It was cylindrical, about four inches in length, covered in electrical tape, and had wires protruding from it.

Initially, Swingle refused to exit the trailer, but after speaking with a negotiator from the PSP Emergency Response Team for about two hours, he came out. He denied having any knowlege about the cylindrical device, which was examined and renderred harmless by police specialists.

Swingle was commited to Wayne County Prison in lieu of $125,000 bail.
