On September 3, 2001, Troopers from Liberty and Wurtsboro arrested two subjects for DWI after stopping both vehicles for traffic infractions. Erica Thiessen, a 34 year old resident of Ferndale, NY, was pulled over for operating a vehicle on Old Route 17 in the Town of Rockland with no lights on. Troopers arrested her for DWI after the traffic stop. Thiessen is to appear in the Town of Rockland Court on September 8.

Enrico Rizzo, a 34 year old resident of Garnerville, NY, was pulled over by Troopers for a loud exhaust while traveling on ST 17 in the Town of Thompson. Rizzo was arrested for DWI and is to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on September 8.

On September 4, 2011, Troopers from Liberty and Wurtsboro arrested four subjects for DWI. Mary Risko, a 48 year old resident from Woodbourne, NY, was stopped because her vehicle had no plate lights. Risko was determined to be intoxicated after the traffic stop and was then arrested for DWI. She is to appear in the Town of Bethel Court on September 12.

David Leighton, a 34 year old resident of Windham, Maine, was found by Troopers to be driving with inadequate headlights on ST 17B in the Town of Bethel. Leighton was found to be intoxicated, arrested for DWI, and remanded to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,000.00 cash bail.

Gail Covert, a 66 year old resident of Livingston Manor, NY, was driving on Riverside Drive in Roscoe when her vehicle became disabled after driving into a ditch, causing her tire to become flat. Assisting Troopers noticed the odor of alcohol on Coverts breath and determined that she was intoxicated. Covert was arrested for DWI and is to appear in the Town of Rockland Court on a later date.

James Romaglio, a 25 year old resident of Eldred, NY, was traveling in the Town of Highland when he failed to signal a turn onto ST 97. Romaglio was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWI. He is to appear in the Town of Highland Court on September 19.
