The New York State Police at Wurtsboro, N. Y. announce the arrest of Shane Pulos, 34 years of age, from Paramont Rd., Fallsburg, N. Y. for five counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substances 7th Degree (Misdemeanor), five counts of Possession of Controlled Substances Outside of Original Container (Misdemeanor – Public Health Law), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree (Misdemeanor).

On August 11, 2011 at 10:30pm Troopers from the New York State Police at Wurtsboro, stopped a vehicle being operated erratically on North Rd., Bloomingburg, N. Y. The operator and sole occupant, identified as Shane Pulos was found to be in possession of a quantity of Opana, Buspirone, and Clonazepam pills secreted in various locations in the vehicle and on his person. Some of the pills were pulverized.

Pulos was also in possession of three Fentanyl patches. Further, Pulos possessed a dagger knife and metal knuckles on his person.

Pulos was taken into custody without incident, and was released on his own recognizance, pending future court action in the Town of Mamakating Justice Court.
