Mitchell Murns arrested for rape in Liberty

On 06/20/11 the Liberty Police arrested Mitchell Murns 20 years old of Liberty for two counts of Rape in the Second Degree a Felony, Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child both Misdemeanors.

Charges were filed after police investigated an allegation that Murns was having sex with a 14 year old female. Murns was arraigned in Town Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on $7500.00 bail.
