Honesdale Police Report

The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating the theft of a lighthouse from a residence on Cliff Street.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on the 19th and 5:30 a.m. on the 20th a person(s) stole a decorative lighthouse from the front yard. This item was described as being approximately 5 foot tall and painted in an American Flag theme.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Honesdale Borough Police at (570) 253-1900. All calls are kept confidential. The investigating officer is Patrolman Colombo.

A vehicle drove over the sign indicating (to stay right) at the traffic island at the intersection of 4th and Church Streets. The sign alerts driver’s approaching the intersection from the east and is owned by PENN -DOT. Several of the reflectors were also struck and damaged. The damage is believed to occurred around the 6th of June.

Anyone having information on the vehicle that caused the damage is asked to contact the Honesdale Police Borough Police Department (570) 253-1900.
