HONESDALE, PA — Local makeup artist Regina Cahill will teach “DIY: Halloween FX Makeup” on Tuesday, October 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Cooperage, 1030 Main St. The class is part of the Do-it-Yourself workshop series presented by The Cooperage Project.

Halloween FX (“effects”) makeup is the use of cosmetic special effects techniques to enhance physical features and exhibit metaphysical characteristics. Cahill will demonstrate basic do-it-yourself Halloween makeup tips and tricks that will help you develop a jaw-droppingly ghoulish look this year. All materials will be provided. Please bring your creativity and, if you’d like, a partner on whom to test out what you learn.

Cahill holds a degree in Makeup Design for Film and Television from the Vancouver Film School. She also holds a PA Cosmetology License from Susquehanna Career and Tech Center.
