BEACH LAKE, PA — Sue Lory will give a presentation titled “Explorations into the Value of Solitude” at the meeting of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 16. For 12 years, Lory taught writing at Ithaca College, and for 17 years she was a clinical social worker with a private practice of psychotherapy. Her talk will be a synthesis of her own professional and personal experiences and the ideas of noted psychologists, anthropologists and philosophers, both religious and secular. Discussion will follow.
