MONTICELLO, NY — Petitions are available for the September 24 election of trustees at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. Four board seats are up for election:

Three seats for a three-year term (January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019)

One seat for a one-year term (January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016)

Incumbents Steven Sharoff (three-year), Constance Keller (three-year) and Marvin Rappaport (one-year) are all seeking re-election.

Incumbent Terry Epstein (three-year) has indicated that she will not be seeking re-election.

Stop by the library and pick up a petition from the election clerk if you are interested in running and you reside within the library service area (the towns of Forestburgh, Bethel or Thompson within the Monticello Central School District).
