This harness race, with Ferris wheel in the background, was photographed at the Wayne County Fair for The River Reporter by Rob Holmstrup in August of 1993. According to the accompanying article, that year was the 100th anniversary of the presence of the ferris wheel at the fair. This year’s fair starts on Friday, August 7. See page 17. There’s still harness racing, and a Ferris wheel, along with other rides.
