MONTICELLO, NY — The Senior Legislative Action Committee of Sullivan County (SLAC) will hold its July meeting on Friday, July 26, 10 a.m. at the Ted Stroebele Neighborhood Facility, 2 Jefferson St. (across from the Government Center). The featured speaker will be Michael Burgess, past director of the New York State Office for the Aging, who will join in celebrating Medicare’s 50th anniversary, and give an update on current efforts to expand both Medicare and Social Security.
