MONTICELLO, NY — Dr. Carlos Holden from Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) will speak at the Sullivan County Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee meeting on March 5 at 9:15 a.m. in the Legislative Committee Room on the second floor of the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North St.
Holden, medical director of the emergency room at CRMC will give a presentation on the opioid drug situation in Sullivan County, titled “One Year Later,” a follow-up on a presentation he gave last year to the legislators.
Cora Edwards, chair of the Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee, said, “The reason we are inviting Dr. Holden back to the committee meeting is so that he can give us an update on the activities of the Sullivan County Drug Task Force, after a very informative presentation he gave to the committee last year. We will also be planning an evening meeting in the spring (April or May) so more members of the community can attend after the workday.”
