HAWLEY, PA — Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance (WPWA) has opened a Pearson VUE® Testing Center at its new location at 92 Main Ave. The center offers hundreds of certification exams for various industries including the Pennsylvania Educator Certification, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) and General Educational Development (GED) tests. The WPWA Pearson VUE® Test Center is partially funded by a grant from the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties.
WPWA is closely partnering with Wayne Pike Adult Literacy Program and Northampton Community College, which offer GED preparation, instruction and materials for individuals looking to complete their high school education requirements.
