In the spring of 1948, the Narrowsburg Airport, Malcolm Dexter’s business venture, was in full swing with many area residents learning to fly. It was located where Lander’s campground now is, and Mr. Dexter had built hangers, hired an instructor and offered training to acquire a pilot’s license.
