SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The Sullivan County CROP Hunger Walk was held on Sunday, October 5 in Jeffersonville. More than $4,500 was contributed by our neighbors and friends to support the hunger-fighting efforts of Church World Service, both here in Sullivan County and around the world. CROP Hunger Walks help support struggling families in the U.S. by providing up to 25% of what is raised by the local walk for food banks, soup kitchens, and community gardens. Although the physical walk is over, donations can still be made to support the Sullivan County CROP Hunger Walk online at www.cropwalk.org.
