NARROWSBURG, NY — Iris and Joe Gural of Beach Lake, PA, seen at right, share their whimsical garden with garden lovers at the sixth annual SullivanArc Garden Tour, held on June 21 in and around Narrowsburg. For the first time, the tour left Sullivan County and crossed the bridge into Beach Lake, PA for three gardens. There were a variety of gardens on the tour featuring a boulder garden, a rooftop garden, a secret garden, a kitchen garden and a unique rock garden. One hundred five people visited the nine gardens either on the coach bus tour or the self-drive tour. Main Street in Narrowsburg was bursting with the garden lovers as they descended on the town for “A Taste of Narrowsburg” lunch and “Art in Bloom,” an art exhibit at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, featuring flower arrangements that emulated paintings. The day ended with the ticket holders and garden owners meeting at Gerard’s River Grill for a complimentary wine and cheese reception. The tour was presented by SullivanArc and

Sullivan Renaissance with cooperation from the Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds benefit people with developmental disabilities supported by SullivanArc.
