CUDDEBACKVILLE, NY — The Neversink Valley Museum of History & Innovation will present its third installment of its History Lecture Series on Wednesday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m., featuring local historian Frank Salvati speaking about “The Infamous Walking Purchase of 1737,” to be held at the D&H Canal Visitor’s Center, 58 Hoag Rd. Light refreshments will be served.
Salvati is a resident of Port Jervis. He is a passionate student of the Indian wars, with a particular interest in the Northeast. He is a popular speaker on the French and Indian Wars, the American Revolution and the War of 1812.
