WHITE LAKE, NY — Literacy Volunteers and Sullivan County BOCES are working together to offer basic literacy classes at the Bethel Literacy Center located in the former Duggan Elementary School in White Lake.

These classes are for adults who grew up in the United States and want to improve their reading and writing skills and even work toward their GED, which is now called the TASC test.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Bethel Literacy Center/Past Perfect Book Store. For more information or to register, call Literacy Volunteers at 845/794-0017 or stop by The Bethel Literacy Center on Tuesday or Thursday and meet the teacher and find out more about the program.
