Book talk on ‘The Bully Pulpit’ at the library

MONTICELLO, NY — Career educator Tony Nappo will speak on Doris Kearns Goodwin’s most recent book, “The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the Golden Age of Journalism,” at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.

Goodwin has written numerous books including “The Fitzgeralds & the Kennedys” and “Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream.” She has received numerous awards including the Pulitzer Prize in history, the Harold Washington Literary Award, the Ambassador Book Award, the Lincoln Prize and the Book Prize for American History.
