Renaissance interns at work

FERNDALE, NY — Sixteen Sullivan Renaissance interns have begun work in communities throughout Sullivan County to assist with the care of gardens and other public projects. From small planter boxes and established gardens to park enhancements and Main Street revitalization, these young people are working alongside community volunteers to make a difference in their communities.

The 2014 Sullivan Renaissance interns are:

• Hannah Bisland – Lumberland Parks and Recreation

• Celina Castellano – Woodbourne Action Committee

• Blake Costa – Liberty CDC

• Collin Frost – Phillipsport Community Center

• Brittany Fuller – Livingston Manor

• Taylor Goudreau – Mamakating/Wurtsboro Renaissance

• Samuel Hogencamp – Town of Thompson

• Jane Hyman – Swan Lake Renaissance

• Matthew Kerendian – Rock Hill Fire Dept.

• Madison McCormack – Jeffersonville JEMS
