One room school goes hi-tech
HONESDALE, PA — For nearly eight decades the historic one-room Bethel School served students in all eight grades with one teacher who taught all subjects. But on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Bethel School will go “hi-tech” and host an open house featuring Pennsylvania History Jeopardy Games, courtesy of Valerie Dux supplying electrical power.
The public is invited to attend this special event beginning at 2 p.m.
Bethel School programs are sponsored by the Wayne County Historical Society, and the society wishes to thank the students who volunteered to participate in the Pennsylvania History Jeopardy Games.
As always, admission is free, and light refreshments will be served. Bethel School is located on Bethel School Road near the Poor Farm, off Route 652. For more information call 570/253-3240 or email Dorothy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
