This is a picture of a station wagon of the 1950s/1960s with its sporty wooden panels. As you can see, this belonged to Peggy Runway Lodge, located on Route 652 a short distance past the PA boat access. The Lodge was burned down in 1979 and a private dwelling now occupies the space. Many guests were picked up in this wagon at the Narrowsburg Erie Railroad Station and brought to the Lodge for their vacation. From the Ruth & J. Frank Behling collection.

The Tusten Historical Society’s hours at the Western Sullivan Public Library, Tusten-Cochecton branch in Narrowsburg, are Mondays from 1 to 3 p.m., Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
