Builders association announces resignation of executive officer

HAWLEY, PA — The Wayne County Builders Association (WCBA) announced that Executive Officer Laurie Lourie has resigned from her position. Lourie began her career with WCBA over 21 years ago in a part-time role and was later promoted to the full-time position. In 1993, Lourie’s first year with the builders, the association’s membership totaled 38. As of May 2014, Wayne County serves over 170 members.

“I am very sad to leave Wayne County Builders. This association is a big part of the community and of my life. It’s my family,” said Lourie. “Although I will miss my friends in Wayne County dearly, I am looking forward to a new opportunity.” Lourie has accepted a position as the Executive Vice President of the York Builders Association.
