LIBERTY, NY — Dharma the Wonder Dog and The River Reporter’s Jonathan Charles Fox visited Liberty Elementary School’s Boys & Girls Club after-school program recently to sign pawtographs and teach the kids about service dogs and proper doggy etiquette. Afterwards, program leader Melissa Antizzo wrote this lovely note, which Dharma has pinned to her bulletin board, right next to her signed photo of Lassie: “Thank you again for today!… The children did understand just how great she is and how smart she is when it comes to alerting you.… The kids were so happy they got your pawtograph. It meant a lot to them….” [signed] Melissa Antizzo.
