MONTICELLO, NY — The Adult & Continuing Education Program at Sullivan County BOCES held its High School Equivalency Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, May 29, at the St John Street Education Center in Monticello. The ceremony was filled with cheers, tears, and smiles as each graduate stood in front of family, friends, and staff members who have supported them through their educational journey. These 15 graduates have overcome many obstacles and roadblocks on their way to reaching this goal.

Cruz Herrera, Donna Moody, and Glen Clark were the student speakers for the night. Each told their story and gave gratitude to all of the people who helped them on their journey to reach this life-altering goal. During the ceremony, Kellyann Shuttleworth received special recognition for scoring over 3000 on the GED exam.
