MIDDLETOWN, NY — Physicians and staff of Crystal Run Healthcare came together to raise funds for the 2014 Hudson Valley Walk to Cure Arthritis held on May 3 at Thomas Bull Memorial Park. Eleven employee teams raised a total of $14,208 in donations to benefit the walk. Including Crystal Run Healthcare’s corporate sponsorship, a grand total of $19,208 was donated to the New York chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, benefactor of the Walk to Cure Arthritis. The funds raised support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission and its focus on medical research, community education programs and patient advocacy initiatives.
Crystal Run’s top three fund raising teams were Sami’s Arthritis Trapp, co-captained by 2014 Medical Honoree Dr. Kevin Trapp, and Crystal Run radiology technologist Cynthia Clemmons; Team Talk, captained by Rachel Kashan; and team Arthritis Warriors, captained by physician assistant Jennifer Thornell.
