HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — As part of its ongoing community rehearsals and workshops to make The Weather Project Community Play this summer, NACL Theatre will host a presentation by Dr. George F. Brown on the subject of population and climate change. The presentation will open the community play-making workshop on Tuesday, May 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Brown will talk for 20 to 30 minutes, covering population trends and the underlying causes of rapid population growth in parts of the world and actions taken to decrease fertility rates. He will also discuss the implications for the environment and global warming. Following the presentation, Dr. Brown will answer questions and encourage a discussion.
