KINGSTON, NY — Following a year-long media campaign highlighting Delaware, Greene, Sullivan and Ulster counties as a tourist destination, the regionwide Catskill Association for Tourism Services (CATS) has announced dramatic increases to the organization’s overall web activity.
CATS worked with its agency, Focus Media, to launch a lengthy media campaign starting in May 2013, with the goal of raising awareness among New York City adults between the ages of 25 and 54. CATS was able to generate significant outcomes, boosting overall website traffic from New York City-based users by more than 159%.
“The Catskills have a lot to offer, and we are working hard to get the message out to potential visitors to our region,” said Richard J. Remsnyder, president of CATS. “This recent campaign has been a resounding success, and we aim to continue with the great forward momentum we have going right now. We expect nothing but great things for the future of Catskills tourism.”
