KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — Join the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, Sullivan Renaissance, and a Sullivan County Master Gardener for a free workshop on Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the conservancy’s New York office at 120 Segar and Rosenberg Road. Learn how to convert lawn to meadow and to create pollinator gardens using native plants favored by butterflies and bees.

Get instruction, have your questions answered about your own gardens, and help to plant a pollinator garden. The office is located on 119 protected acres of farm, forest, and meadows which the conservancy is also using as a teaching space.

The workshop is free and open to the public, but prior registration is requested. Call 570/226-3164, 845/583-1010, or email info@delawarehighlands.org.
