MONTICELLO, NY — The Monticello Board of Education announced that they are extending the timeline for applicants to apply for the position of superintendent of schools. The new deadline for submissions is April 30.

“Although we have several good candidates for the position, we would like to extend our search to provide every opportunity to get the best possible candidate for our district. During our initial search, there were a number of openings throughout the state, which may have limited the number of applicants for Monticello’s search,” said Sue Purcell, Monticello School Board President.
