MONTICELLO, NY — In the inclusive spirit of Passover, Temple Sholom will host a Pre-Passover Educational Fair on Sunday, April 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. According to Rabbi Michele Medwin, “We want our friends and neighbors to understand and enjoy this beautiful holiday, which celebrates both freedom and springtime.”
The fair will help both adults and children learn about the holiday, and will feature songs, games, crafts, samples of Passover foods, and a matzoh tasting. Under the guidance of educators Susan Kantor and Stacey Sharoff, children will act out the Passover story and hear how a shank bone, salt water, matzoh and eggs relate to the Exodus story.
Admission is $5 per adult, which includes admission for one child, and $1 per additional child. No cost for Temple Sholom members. For further information call Stephanie Phillips 845/436-9857.
