MILFORD, PA — The Grotto Italian Restaurant will offer a fundraising night to benefit Safe Haven of Pike County, Inc. on Friday, April 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. Adam Haygood, owner and executive chef, has a special menu planned for the supporters of Safe Haven. The Grotto will donate 75% of the evening’s proceeds to support Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Located in the historically restored Zaloom House at 508 West Harford St., The Grotto usually offers a diverse menu of Mediterranean and Italian cuisines, including both gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian meals. For the benefit there will be a pris-fixe menu for $40 per person. The menu will feature blueberry balsamic chicken accompanied by hors d’ oeuvres, creamy asparagus soup, salad, house-made gnocchi in creamy pesto sauce, red pepper polenta, seasonal vegetables and dessert.
